Hi, i love how you painted Luthien Tinuviel, she is after all the most beautiful creature of all. Im part of the Argentinian Tolkien Association, its a nonprofit association dedicated to the diffusion of literature and the arts related to the work of JRR Tolkien. We are organizing an artistic exhibition in november and well be honored if you give us your permission to show this and any other JRR Tolkien related work that you want. please Let me know.
No problem. But, I don't send "copies without watermarks" (I hate thievery & piracy, so watermark = art protection). I am owner (originals) most of my arts & I have their publication-rights & permissions (if original of image was solded). If watermark isn't problem, it's OK. There is a problem if you will send me (if is) copy of folder/ catalogue of this exhibition? Through e-mail (eg. scans) or normal post? I collect materials with my images (journals, folders, posters etc.) in my portfolio...
First of all sorry about the delay in this response Thanks a lot, anyway. But, though we totally understand and respect your possition, we dont want to show pictures with watermarks on them. Thanks again.
Amazing work. I have to second what has been said, this is maybe the best Luthien illustration I have soon so far.
You have done great job with those beautiful colours, it creates very nice atmosphere - mythical and dreamy-like. I could imagine Morgoths darkness around her, when she creates her own light with dancing (since you mentioned drawing on black paper).
Colours combined with good positioning, gestures and details altogether... just wow.
Its interesting to see how different styles you can create. "Luthien - dance", "Fellowship of the Ring -parody" and "Hobbit - chapter 3" could be from different artists, as far as I know. Great styles, and great paintings.
