This stamp is a piece of "small eco-series" for contest 'Raise Environmental Awareness' (enviro-tips.deviantart.com/blo…)
I have 3 waste-baskets in kitchen.
1: plastic & paper (for further segregation),
2: glass & metal (for further segregation),
3: organic-waste (for compost in small garden near house).
People in Poland (especially elders) often don't think about it. 20-30 years ago (in socialism-reality) life was sad, grey, gloomy. But environment was... without millions colorful plastic bags, PET bottles etc.
Now, when I go to the forest or I wander on hills, I see these bottles, cans, boxes etc... and I hate it.
I have a 19-years old daughter.
I wish to someday, my daughter's daughter and her daughters will not see wastes on meadows, hills, mountains, forests, in rivers, seas and lakes.
Maybe for others, these wastes are colorful "symbols of luxury"... Don't laugh! Poland was poor too long time...
So, when someone asks me: "Do you segregate waste? For what?...", I answer: "For my Mother Nature".
All my ancestors are dead, so I haven't other Mother.

The fact you had to put 'I'm not a racist' on all these stamps is sad. If someone took the time to actually look at 'em, they'd know what you meant. But, who on the net actually pays attention anymore?
